Kimberly Ann Nunes is an itinerate writer who spends time between New York City and California, where she has homes in Ross and Carmel-by-the-Sea. Currently, she is working towards completion of an MFA in poetry at Sarah Lawrence College. She says, "For me, becoming a poet has been an intense effort in going about the business of living, and recording that effort in the form of small written artifacts."

Kimberly has an MBA in marketing and an MA in Humanities. She is a trustee for the California Pacific Medical Center Foundation and finds time to invest in learning the ins and outs of conventional and organic farming at her family's business based in Salinas, California.

She says, "I find joy in helping people write about their lives and put together their books. I go to bed sometimes and dream about the stories—the real places where real people have lived lives often more interesting and thrilling, more subtle and heartbreaking, than fiction could ever deliver."
